The Department of Mathematics at GDC Memorial College is a well-known and active department dedicated to quality teaching and research. Since it was established in 2011, the department has grown steadily in terms of faculty, facilities, and academic programs. It serves both undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively.

The department offers Mathematics as a main subject in B.A., B.Sc. (Non-Medical and Computer Science) courses. In 2015, it further expanded by introducing the M.Sc. Mathematics program with 30 intake, which provides students with advanced knowledge and a strong foundation for research in the field.

The department has a team of qualified, experienced, and dedicated teachers who create a supportive and friendly learning environment. They not only help students in their studies but also guide them in their personal and career development, ensuring overall growth.
